Family Update

The past week or two have been very busy for our family and I haven't had much time for blogging. I've got lots to add!! Carson is now seven months old, sitting up by himself, and trying to crawl. His two bottom teeth came through last weekend, and we've just finished a steroid to take care his case of croup. Sydney is doing great in school. She did wonderful on her first 9 weeks report card...all 2's and 3's (on and above grade level) and a 99% in math. Her reading level is 2 points away from what they expect at the end of first grade, so she's moving right along. We're very proud of her. She also went to the Hall of Fame assembly last week at school. I didn't get the note about it so there are no pictures, but she got a certificate and a free meal at Purple Cow. I had to take her to the doctor yesterday and we found out that she has walking pneumonia. We have started her meds and hopefully it will be cleared up soon. We're counting the days till the Hannah Montana concert! Sydney and Bradi are so excited. I'm still busy, busy, busy with school (work) and school (UCA). My first 6 hours of grad school are beginning to wind down and Christmas break is coming soon. YEA! Cameron just got a promotion at work...we're very excited and proud of him. He is on his way back from a business trip to Florida, on which he was told he'd be going to a "work conference" at Disney World in January. I'm a little disappointed that the kids and I (at least Syd) won't be able to take that trip with him. Here are some pictures of what we've been doing lately.

Sydney and Carson have been doing lots of playing at home. She is great with him and he's getting big enough to play with her more. They keep us laughing! My friend Sarah and her daughter Lyla came in from OKC to visit. Several of us got together for lunch last Saturday. We had a great time gabbing as usual. Our waiter obviously wasn't a professional photographer.

Carson missed out on all the fun because he was sick. I didn't think everyone else would appreciate children with croup. He stayed home and napped with his Daddy.
