A Night @ Home

We love Saturdays at home!! The last few weekends have been busy so this one was great, despite the rain. We also had a great Valentine's Day this past Thursday, although I didn't get any pictures. I had class at UCA from 6-9 so I got up early and made heart-shaped pancakes before school. In case your wondering this is not our typical breakfast on school mornings...it's pop-tarts and cereal. It was a crazy day at school due to parties and way too much sugar, then off to my grad class. Our professor did let us out early and Cameron & Sydney had a very sweet surprise for me when I got home. They had gotten a few different desserts at the Fresh Market and had flowers and candles on the table. Sydney greeted me at the door and was our waitress. She was so cute!! We had a great time sharing the awesome desserts between the three of us. I hate that Carson had to miss it, but it was past his bedtime.
Syd wasn't really interested in having her picture taken but I managed to get one. She had another basketball game yesterday and did a great job. She scored two points and had a ton of steals. She is really enjoying it and getting better every week. I missed the game today because I was helping with Anna Carol's baby shower and Cam said I couldn't come anymore because she did so well. I think we're down to only 3 more games.
" Mommy's shoe strings are yummy."

Carson @ 10 and a half months
Climbing on everything...we are constantly getting him away from the hearth.
"Let's see, what should I have for dinner?"
"I think I'll just climb on in to get a better look."
Carson loves his Elmo truck that he got for Christmas. He drives it all around the house...we love to watch because he seems like a "real little boy" playing instead of a baby. They grow up so fast!!
