1 Year Check-Up

We went for Carson's 1 year check up and shots this past Friday. Dr. Malak said he looks great. I felt so bad about the shots because he was in the best mood...he had no idea what was coming. He did great though and only cried for like 30 seconds. He had a little fever the next day, but nothing a little Motrin wouldn't handle.

Weight: 21 lbs. and 1 oz.
Height: 29 in.
Eating: Table food, pretty much whatever we'll give him. If you eat it, he wants it. He is drinking whole milk from a sippy cup and likes water and juice too.
Sleeping: Bedtime is around 8:30 and he sleeps until I wake him at about 6:45 to get ready for school. On weekends he'll sleep anywhere from 7:30 - 8:30. He still takes a couple of hour or so naps at daycare, but will take one good long nap when he's at home.
Development: NO! We still aren't walking. He walks all around the furniture, with his push toys, and even down the wall, but he won't let go. I guess he can get where he wants to go by crawling for now. I guess I just expected him to be walking by now since Syd was at 10 months. I guess he'll do it on his own time. He jibber jabbers all the time, loves to play with ball and push trucks, and laughs a lot. He is such a happy baby! We are experiencing some separation anxiety when we get around a lot of people. He is happy as long as he is being held by Cameron, Sydney, or me. We enjoy him more everyday!!
