Sydney's basketball season started this Saturday and she was AWESOME! We were so proud of her. Last year was her first year to play and it amazed me to see how much she improved from beginning to end. I was really excited for this year to begin because first and foremost she loves playing basketball, but also because I love it and enjoy watching her. I am pretty competitive by nature and it seems that Syd has gotten that as well. They don't keep score in Upward, but she does and it's so fun to see how excited she gets. This Saturday she scored eight points and had a crazy number of rebounds, I lost count. She just did so good, and if you haven't noticed I'm a very proud Mommy. Way to go Syd!!
Carson loved watching his Sissy play but really wanted a basketball of his own. He was pretty funny cheering for her. It was like he knew on his own that she had done something good and would start clapping and saying, "Yea!!"
