Sunny Saturday

Today was a great day. We had beautiful weather, family visiting, and lot of friends to hang out with. We are all feeling much better as well. Lolli and Pop, Cam's parents, came up this morning to watch Sydney play basketball. We also had some great BBQ after the game, yummy. We decided to take an afternoon drive out to Wye Mountain to see if the Daffodils were blooming yet and they definitely were. Hopefully we'll be able to go back out there next weekend while Syd's with us, but had to take some pictures of Carson today since we were there. Although he didn't want to cooperate, I managed to get a few cute pictures. He was actually quite hilarious in his stubbornness. No fit pitching or anything, just pretty much refusal to smile. He and his daddy feel the same way about picture sessions. The bad news for them is that I love them and usually, Mommy gets what Mommy wants (within reason). ;)

After Wye Mountain we went to the Parrish's to celebrate sweet Mason's first birthday. Boy did he rack up on the toys! Lucky for us we now know lots of things Carson would love to have for his birthday, which is less than a month away. Happy Birthday Mason!!

To wrap up our great day, we had dinner with our friends Mark and Kristin. We decided to head back to our house to visit when nap deprived, super sleepy Carson tried climbing the walls at the restaurant. Little did I know that Mark would become my hero because of this...MY COMPUTER IS NOW WORKING!! Thank you guys so much for coming to visit us and for fixing my computer. I love my techie friends!
