We went to
Branson this past weekend to do some back to school shopping. I can't believe I'm typing that already. It seems like just yesterday we were starting out summer break. I'm definitely not ready to be back at work, but am ready for our normal routine again. Besides shopping, we had dinner at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House. It's one of those restaurants that throws rolls. Carson loved this! Sydney had been there before so it wasn't quite as cool to her, but she still had fun catching some.

Carson would raise his hand and yell, "Hey Rudy!"
every time he saw the roll guy.

His Daddy helped him catch this one on his head.

Sydney caught hers in a more traditional way.

Crazy kiddos!

We also went to the new Bass Pro Shop while we were in
Branson. I guess it's really not that new but we haven't been in three years so it was to us. We can't pass a Bass Pro without checking out (and usually buying) a new fishing reel. I'm sure you're aware it's not for me. I spend most of my time there looking at the huge fish tank with the kids and being harassed by Cameron about the boat he wants so terribly bad. The area around there really nice...
Branson Landing. We walked around to different shops and listened to a band play for a little while. They had a water/fire show behind them that was pretty neat. All in all, it was a fun, productive trip. Just what I needed before heading back to the real world (aka: work) soon.
