Go Hogs!!

Bubby came down Friday afternoon to stay with us so he could visit and go to the game Saturday. We love getting to see him and don't get to near as much as we'd like. We wish he could have stayed longer, but he had to go to DQ and is doing the sermon at First Baptist tomorrow. I know he'll do a great job and we're so proud of him for sharing his faith with others.

Sydney went to her friend Anya's birthday party this afternoon and looked too cute not to photograph. I can't believe how grown up she is starting to look.

The party was at the Blue Cake Company and all the girls got to decorate their own GIANT cupcake. Hers got a little sloshed around during the car ride home, but I think she did a great job decorating it.

While Syd was at the party, we got ready for the first Razorback football game of the season. This was Carson's first game and he was so excited.

We picked Syd up, she changed clothes, and we headed to the game. She's such a goofball! We really didn't want to tailgate bad enough to deal with the rain, so we headed to the field just before game time. I wasn't sure if the rain would hold off, so I didn't take my camera to the game. Sydney had a blast. She's been to games before but was so observant this time. Carson was a little wiggle worm and couldn't understand why the "nice ray-zee-back" wouldn't come up to see him. At one point he even told us he saw Mickey Mouse. "He's right over there," he would say as he pointed somewhere across the field. Cam and I never saw him with our eyes, but anything is possible, right?! The weather was perfect and we stayed through the beginning of the fourth quarter. I was glad to see things looking a little better for the Hogs this year. Hope they keep it up.

Shortly after getting to the car, this is what we saw in the backseat. I'm not sure how they slept after the cotton candy and ice cream, but was glad they had fun.
