A Month in Reverse

I can't believe it's been over a month since I last updated. I don't think I've ever been such a blog slacker. Hopefully things will be a little slower this month and I'll be able to keep up. Here's a quick update on what everyone's been up to.

Cameron did a lot of traveling for work since I last updated. He was gone to Wisconsin, St. Louis, and Tampa much of the month. He's been home the last couple of weeks and we couldn't be happier!! I am not a big fan of the traveling but am very thankful that he brings home a paycheck, so I won't complain.

As for me, I've been busy chasing the kids around, especially Syd. Her schedule keeps me running all the time. School is going well. I have a very sweet class and am really enjoying this year.

Sydney is still cheering and playing basketball. She is doing great in school and will hopefully still have all A's come Thursday (end of the 1st 9 weeks).

Carson has a new love for "floss teeth". (dental floss) Crazy, I know! The kind we use is mint flavored so he thinks it has "canies on it". (candies on it) He talks, sings, runs, and climbs all the time and seems to still love his new school. His favorite things to do are bug his Sissy (he definitely has that down to an art), doe-pop with Daddy (tackle each other), and ride his tricycle through the house.

*Lolli and Pop came up to visit yesterday so we took Carson to the Rodeo at the State Fair. He loved it all, especially the bull riding. Sydney was gone to a friend's birthday party and had way more fun doing that I'm sure.

* Last weekend we went to DQ to see Kaci in homecoming. We loved getting to visit with friends and family as always.

Dawny Bear's granddaughter Kylee was there with her mom and dad. Carson loved holding her.

*A couple of weeks ago Sydney's cheer squad performed at Fulbright's book fair at Barnes and Noble. You're thinking, "How could 27 girls possibly cheer, dance, tumble, and do stunts inside Barnes and Noble?" right. I really have no idea either but they did and looked great doing it.

*I helped with a baby shower for my friend Erin at the end of September. She has since had baby Benjamin Andrews. Congrats Drew, Erin, and ME!!

(I stole this pick from your blog Erin, thanks)
*We had a big get together at my Aunt Kelly's house in Conway a few weekends ago. The weather was perfect, the food was even better, there was lots of good company, and the Hogs won!!
Bubby taught Syd how to hurdle over the Ladder Ball thing.

Davo was all smiles for the camera as usual.

The boys were trying to figure out just how Ladder Ball works.

Lots of four-wheeler riding took place.

Sydney's friend Madison came with us to keep her company.
*My sweet nephew, Davis, turned 2 on September 21st. We had a blast at his party.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVO!! WE LOVE YOU!

Carson looks deep in thought while trying out Davis' birthday present. I'm sure he was thinking, "How can I get this thing out the gate and to my house?"
So, there's the last month is a nutshell. Hope you've all had a great month, too!
