Winter Weather

We were out of school on Friday due to winter weather. As a teacher, it's always fun to have a snow day but having to make it up in June is not quite as nice. At least there was reason to be out this time. We were out for a snow day on what was supposed to be our first day back from Christmas Break a few weeks ago, and there was absolutely no reason for us to be out. We had fun being home and did a whole lot of nothing...it was fabulous!

I spent most the day getting "beat up" by my little boxer.

We did get out for a little bit Saturday to take a walk in the ice/snow. We also decided we couldn't do without a Sonic fix, so we braved the roads (Cam driving of course)...they weren't that bad.

Syd had fun sliding around in the cul-de-sac. It's perfectly flat so there was no sledding.

Carson's favorite part of the winter weather was kicking ice sickles off his daddy's truck.
