have been exciting, crazy, scary, busy, emotional, full of blessings, I could go on and on. Instead, I'll just try and update you as quickly as possible. Here goes...
April
We put our house on the market in April, and thankfully it sold in 3 days.
Cameron left for a work trip to India for 10 days. He enjoyed seeing a new place but is not ready to go back anytime soon. His first day there they went to see the Taj Mahal. He said it was amazing.
While he was gone, Carson and I met Mimi in Fayetteville for the Georgia series. I hadn't seen Kyle in a while since they stay so busy during baseball season, so it was great to hang out with him.

The very best part of April was Lolli's surgery. Cameron's mom has been fighting ovarian cancer since November. After several rounds of chemo, a few hospital stays, and very scary odds her surgery results were fantastic. There was no sign of the cancer, but it was very evident that prayer is powerful and God works miracles every day. We love you, Lolli!!
May
We had to be out of our house by May 10th. This wasn't ideal since we weren't moving until June, but the buyer made such a great offer we didn't want to scare her away by asking for more time. Luckily, my fabulous brother and sister-in-law let us crash in their extra bedrooms for a month.
Packing was no fun at all but we managed to get it done. Cameron was in FL the entire week before we moved. The kids and I tried really hard to get some things accomplished but this is what typically happened.
When the POD was delivered, they were still no help! ;)
Mom, Aunt Kelly, Ash, and I packed boxes while Ryan and Cameron loaded everything in the POD. Luckily we had a great POD experience. The only broken item was a cracked pitcher...no biggie. Thanks guys for all your help!!
I took a day off work to go on Carson's field trip to the zoo. It was so fun watching him with his friends.

The Razorbacks played a baseball game at Dickey Stephens this year. It was nice to drive 15 minutes rather than 3 hours to watch a game.

Sydney and Madison

Best Buddies...We miss you Davo!!
We had a girls night in Hot Springs for my going away get together and Kerri's birthday. Anna Carol's sweet aunt and uncle let us stay at their condo on Lake Hamilton. We had lunch at Rolando's...
got pedicures at the mall...
then watched Sex in the City 2. I had such a great time! Thanks girls...I miss you all.
June
We left town for the actual move on June 4th. This was one of the most emotional days I've ever had. I think I cried pretty much all day...and I was at school!! Every time someone hugged me, I lost it. I had the sweetest co-workers, parents, and students, and I will really miss all of them this fall. I didn't manage to get any pictures but my 4th grade team had a going away party for me. They gave me a framed picture of the Fulbright Falcon logo and had all the teachers sign the mat around it. I love it!!
The following Sunday was Father's Day. We visited a new church and had lunch at Five Guys...Cam's favorite hamburger. We're also extremely blessed to have such wonderful dads and grandpa's in our lives.
Cameron and Carson spent the next Sunday afternoon watching the Rays play while I had lunch and went shopping with two really sweet girls. This was my first Cheesecake Factory experience...I'm hooked!!
We spent several days this month at the beach. No oil here!! Carson loves the "soulty" water.

He also loves taking his ball and glove to the beach. Of course his daddy hates this. ;)

2009-2010 Fulbright Falcon Cheerleaders performed at an Arkansas Traveler's game. They were awesome. Click here to watch their performance on YouTube.

June
Anna Carol and Mason picked Carson up early from school one day for some playtime before we left. They had so much fun together and make perfect Buzz Lightyear underwear models!
The last week of school a few of Sydney's friends had a going away party for her. It was so sweet of them to do this. They had a great time swimming and having pizza and cupcakes.
We headed out after school that afternoon. Aunt Kelly, Carson, and I in Cam's car, and Cameron and Uncle Haydon in my car pulling a U-Haul trailer. Sydney stayed in Little Rock to make the rounds visiting everyone before coming down. Although most of our stuff was already in FL, we did have a full load from staying at my brother's house. Carson was an absolute angel the entire trip. We made it to Tampa about 6:00 Saturday evening...and the boys still had to unload the POD. Yuck! Being the awesome guys they are, it was all done by the time us girls finished getting all the necessary supplies at Super Target (btw...I LOVE Super Target).
Aunt Kelly and Haydon flew home Monday afternoon, and we were so thankful for all their help. We love you guys!
Our first weekend there was right before my birthday so we headed to the outlet mall to shop. It is such a beautiful drive across the Sunshine Skyway. The boys took me to dinner and gave me a mani/pedi gift certificate for my birthday. It was a fabulous day, I just wish Syd would have been there. A couple days later we celebrated our 4th anniversary. I feel so blessed to have a husband like Cameron!
July started perfectly...I GOT A JOB! And not just any job, one at Sydney's school.
We spent the 4th of July eating crab legs and watching fireworks at the beach. Carson must have the most sensitive ears in all the world because he hates all even remotely loud noises. He enjoyed the fireworks with headphones on.
Mimi, Bubby, and Jocelyne (Bubby's girlfriend) flew down with Sydney and stayed the week. We were so glad they got to come!! As you can see from the picture below, Bubby has casts on his arms. He had surgery on both wrists the week before and was pretty much helpless. Let me just say that Jocelyne is a saint!! He even got to enjoy crab legs with the rest of us...thanks to his sweet brother-in-law.
We're trying to become Rays fans, although Cam will always be a Cardinals fan at heart. Sydney on the other hand is pretty quick to jump on the bandwagon. It broke Bubby's heart when she bought a Gator shirt at the outlet mall. ;)
Rays fan or not, I was thrilled to see them beat the Red Sox. Red Sox fans are obnoxious!!
Sydney and Cameron have a new hobby. Golfing! He's such a sucker and has already bought her a set of youth clubs. They've been spending lots of time at the driving range. Carson loves to tag along, too.
This was an absolute answer to prayer. God is good!
Next, my sweet girl came home after a month in Arkansas!! We were so excited for her to get to Florida, especially her brother. When he saw her at the airport he took off running yelling, "Syney!!" It was absolutely precious.
We spent a couple days that week at the beach. As you can imagine, Kyle's casts made that interesting as well. He was a trooper, and I know he loved not having to help Jocelyne and I carry the tent, chairs, ice chest, toys, etc... We'll let you handle it all next time, Bubs!
Syd went to a basketball camp every morning during her first week home. She had a blast, even if she was one of only three girls there. She loves showing the boys how it's done. ;) Her team won the 3 on 3 tournament, and she won the lay-up contest.
We've just been enjoying being at home this week, and being goofballs of course.
I'm very impressed if you've read to this point. I promise to update freqently now that life is beginning to slow down and I've gotten caught up. I hope you're all having a GREAT summer!!

Looks like you guys are settling in nicely. I love seeing all the pics! I'm so glad things are going well.
I SO enjoyed our phone conversation the other day...even though we got cut off several times!
It seems like I miss you more now that I know you're not just 3 hours away! When you are in AR, I know you will be busy, but I'm going to have to make a trip to catch up! :)
Love ya!
I'm so happy things are going so well. God is truly wonderful and blesses us in ways we can't imagine so long as we follow His will. AND...welcome to the WONDERFUL world of SuperTarget and Cheesecake Factory! They are staples in OK, too!! :)
