Sydney's friend
Landyn came home with us from school one day last week to play for a while. They had a blast, even though I was SO MEAN and wouldn't let them play in the back yard...it was in desperate need of mowing. Carson is an awesome "real baby" for Sydney and her friends to play with. Sometimes Syd gets a little frustrated when they want to hold him instead of doing something she wants to do, but lucky for her holding him is only fun for so long. ;)

As for me, I've been busy surviving field trips galore. Two weeks ago we visited the LR Zoo with 100 of our "wildest animals", this past week we went to Dickey Stephens Park to watch a Travelers game with 7,000 screaming kiddos, and tomorrow we are going skating (I know it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to me too). Luckily I have my pal Jennifer to chat with on all these crazy trips. *Thanks for helping me keep my sanity Jenn!
And I need to add a Congrats to my other co-worker, Thelma. We went to the LRSD Crystal Awards at the Embassy Suites last night to support Thelma as Fulbright's Teacher of the Year, and what do know...SHE WON! She is this years Elementary Teacher of the Year. She is awesome and really deserves it!!
