We went to visit Dr. O'Neill today for Carson's 15 month check-up. He told us that he looks great and seems to be a pretty smart boy. He weighs 23 lbs. and is 30 1/4 inches long. The doctor said that's about average for his age. Some things he's doing these days are walking/running everywhere, climbing, pointing at things, wanting to be read to, dancing, and throwing balls. He knows where his and other people's bellies are and loves to ticka, ticka them. Some words he says are Momma, Daddy, Sissy, Wowa (Lola), Bown Bear (Brown Bear), ni-ni (night night), Pop, Mimi, Nana, ticka ticka (tickle tickle), Oooww, Oooh-Wee, ba (ball), and no. He also says something that sounds a lot like thank you and does it when you hand him something so we're working on that. He has added a new favorite book to our reading collection, Elmo's Playdate. He is a great eater, pretty much anything you put in his mouth. He has started sleeping from about 8:30 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. He's gotten down to one nap in the afternoon and he sleeps from 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If he isn't up at 3 hours I usually go in and find him laying there awake, I guess having a little Carson time. He is such a blessing and we love him more everyday! Same goes for his big Sissy and I must add once again that she is an awesome helper. Below are some pictures of his first boo boo. We went to a fun thing at our church tonight and his feet got to going a little too fast. He took a nose dive and busted his lip. It bled a little inside and left a red place on the outside. He also got a little scrape on his knee. I know I'm silly for posting this but it's his first ouchie.
Some great faces
