Last Wednesday the kids and I went to DQ to visit for a few days. We decided we better take advantage of our last free week before school starts. We had a great time visiting with everyone and of course ate some great food. Carson got his first, much needed, haircut. Okay, it was really just a trim, I couldn't part with the curls just yet, and he did great...the sucker helped. At least his bangs are out of his eyes now.

My friend Lacey and her kids came to visit us and we got to do a lot of much needed catching up. Carson and
Presli got to do a little painting, sort of. When I was little I used to use a paint brush and water to "paint"
PaPaw's workshop. It turned dark brown and made me feel like I was really painting. So,
PaPaw gave them a big bucket of water and paint brushes, and let them go. They had a great time and ended up soaked!

Sydney and
Bradi were busy playing on the back of
Bubby's Avalanche. I'm not sure what was so fun about it but they seemed to enjoy themselves. I think it was their stage. These girls are a dangerous pair let me tell ya', but have so much fun together.

The girls wanted to take a picture of Lacey and I so I thought I'd post it. They remind me so much of Lacey and myself when we were younger. Lace, I just couldn't bring myself to post the silly pic. It was great seeing you guys and I hope we will again soon.

Cameron rode down with my cousin Kayla on Friday to go fishing with
PaPaw. They enjoyed themselves as usual and caught 20 fish. We also had a little birthday dinner for Nana, Cameron, and Uncle Frank. Birthday cake, pecan pie, gooey butter cake, and buttermilk pie...how could a girl choose?! Can't wait to go visit again.
