Summer...FINALLY

I know it's hard to believe but today was our first official day of summer. The kids didn't get out of school here until this past Friday and the teachers had half a day of meetings and getting everything turned in yesterday. Luckily I only had to be there until 10 am and the kids got to come with me and play on the playground. Carson and I then ran errands and napped while Sydney played at her friend Madison's house.

Today we meet several of our friends at the park to play. They had fun but Carson was more interested in the swimming pool next to the park, so we headed to Toy's R Us shortly after the park to purchase a pool. I'm so glad they are still young enough to have a blast in a $20 pool.

We plan on keeping busy the rest of the week with free movies at the Rave, having friends over, swimming, basketball practice, and going to Wild River Country. This is my favorite part of being a teacher...summer off with my precious babies!!

He's only 2 and has already mastered pestering his Sissy.
