Carson's 2 Year Stats

It's been almost a month since Carson turned 2, and it's been almost 3 weeks since we saw the doctor for his 2 year check-up, but here are some stats...better late than never. Carson is 33 1/2 inches tall and weighs 28 lbs. His weight is average and his height is low average, pretty much what we expect. The doctor said he looked wonderful and is doing great developmentally. He even made it out with no shots this visit!!

What Carson's doing these days: He goes to bed at 8:30 and I wake him up for school about 6:45. On the weekends, he usually sleeps until somewhere between 8:00 and 9:00. He takes one nap a day from 12:30-2:30. He loves school and his teacher Mrs. Amy. Carson is a pretty good eater. He loves fruit and has recently started liking lots of pastas. He is still obsessed with watching the "bucka bulls" and likes to watch any kind of sport (which thrills his daddy). He is definitely all boy, loud and rambunctious. He loves playing outside and doing anything his Sissy does. He loves animal books, especially his new Wild Baby Animals magazines he's getting in the mail (Thanks Val and Kyle). He knows the name of more animals than I do! He loves to sing. Some of his favs are Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Deep and Wide, Old McDonald, and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. He says pretty much whatever he wants to. Sometimes it takes a couple of times for us to understand him, but most of it's pretty plain. He climbs on EVERYTHING and loves to pretend he's fishing with his "pishing pole." He has a Spider Man pole and can't really cast it but throws it like he is and says, "PSSSSSSSSSS." Cameron was hoping Carson would be left-handed like him, but he's definitely not. He does however bat left-handed. He has a tee and bats that way every time. Maybe we'll develop a switch hitter. He's a very sweet boy and always says please and thank you. He still loves his blanket, affectionately known as "mine" and his pappy (I know we need to get rid of that). Two of my favorite things he says are "I carry you Mommy," and "I hold you." It's also pretty funny when you call him from another room and you hear him reply, "I tummin!" He keeps us laughing constantly and we enjoy every minute of our adorable little blessing.

Sorry for so much info, but it's really for myself. This blog is my scrapbook of what goes on with the kids at different ages. I'd never remember otherwise. Enjoy a couple more random pictures.
