My Attempt @ Being Crafty

Although I had way more important things I should have been doing this weekend, I spent most of my Saturday painting. I have the craftiest friends in the world and I am always wishing I had time to do fun stuff too. I decided I wanted to paint new Easter baskets for Sydney and Carson, so that's what I did, ignoring the fact that I have a research proposal due in less than 3 weeks. They're not perfect by any means, but I was very pleased with how they turned out. I now know why I don't do this kind of thing more often...it took me FOREVER. I am way too much of a perfectionist to do lots of artsy stuff.

Since I probably won't have time to post again during the week, here's an update on what's going on at the Arnold house. We're all busy as usual. Sydney has me running ragged with all that she's got going on, but I love it. She started practicing with a new basketball team this week so our schedule became even more full. Here's what last week looked like: Monday - cheer for 2 hours, Tuesday - basketball for an hour and my grad class, Wednesday - cheer for 2 hours and AWANA's at church, Thursday and Friday - basketball for an hour. Their Twister's performance is coming up soon for cheerleading and they are looking so good. I'm also very excited about this basketball opportunity. I think she'll learn a ton from these coaches.
As for the rest of us, I have a big assignment due soon for my graduate class and I must say I'm procrastinating big time. I really need to get on the ball. Cameron stays busy with work and Carson just tags along with me chasing his Sissy. I'll have 2 year old stats after our doctors appointment this week. I hope everyone has a great week!!

Did Syd tell you that I got to see the bucket in person at my church's egg hunt? The bucket is even cuter in person!
